Project Summary
UrbanPack Design Kft. has extensive experience in the manufacturing and distribution of custom packaging machines. One of the company’s key strategic goals is to increase production efficiency and strengthen competitiveness in the market.
Within this project, two major innovations aim to improve the efficiency of manufacturing and service processes, as well as modernize the company’s digital presence and customer acquisition strategy.
1. Production Process Innovation: Acquisition of Single‑ and Dual‑Axis Positioning/Rotating Equipment
Current Production Processes: UrbanPack Design Kft.’s core activity is the manufacturing of custom packaging machines for various industries. Production is carried out using two KUKA industrial robots, which still require manual intervention for certain tasks, such as rotating workpieces.
This results in high energy consumption, long lead times and increased scrap rates, as the robots cannot reach all necessary positions and workpieces must be rotated manually.
Innovations Implemented: The project introduces a new industrial rotating device that automatically positions and rotates workpieces, enabling the robots to access all surfaces.
The new technology is equipped with pressure sensors, improving machining accuracy, reducing scrap rates and significantly lowering energy consumption.
With this development, both lead time and energy usage can be reduced by up to 50%, while product quality and production speed increase.
This innovation represents a major step forward for UrbanPack Design Kft., enhancing both production efficiency and market competitiveness
2. 2. Marketing Process Innovation: Development of a Digital Marketing Strategy
The project includes the development of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy consisting of:
• SEO optimization and creation of new industry‑specific landing pages
• Implementation of an Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) strategy to target key B2B clients
• Email marketing automation and regular Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns
• Strengthening content marketing activities on LinkedIn and Facebook
This innovation enables UrbanPack Design Kft. to build a modern, measurable marketing system that enhances competitiveness and improves customer acquisition efficiency
The project delivers two key business process innovations:
1. Production process development through the introduction of an industrial rotating device
2. Marketing process modernization through a comprehensive digital marketing strategy
Both innovations introduce new, previously unused methods within the company, contributing to increased competitiveness, improved operational efficiency and stronger customer acquisition.
